You will have a good understanding of analogue electronics, signal processing, control systems, optics and the physics of sensors. This is a central role within a multi-disciplinary project team where your role will span specification, design, evaluation, troubleshooting and transfer to manufacturing.
Profile: Minimum of a degree in Physics or Electronics, PHD preferred
Relevant industry experience in design and development of scientific instrumentation
Knowledge and application of thermodynamics, magnetic and electronic fields and semi- conductors
Analogue circuit design, layout and optimization
Mathematical modeling software experience
Proven track record of design and implementation of high sensitivity measurement systems
