NATIONAL SALES MANAGER - basic to £75K per annum plus commission of £25K paid annually plus car, pension scheme and private healthcare (after qualifying period).

My client is a leading online portal, combining listings with relevant editorial content and local information. They are seeking to recruit a National Sales Manager to head up their sales team, with responsibility for a £20m business and a team of up to 35 people. This is a crucial appointment for my client, requiring an experienced Manager with a proven track record of success within a sales environment, preferably with recent advertising/directories/classified experience.

Salary:up to £75K basic plus up to £25K commission (capped)

Location:based out of central London but with UK travel (largely within London but may require some national travel).

Reporting to the Sales Director, you will be responsible for all operational aspects of the business. You will be a motivational and inspiring leader. Your team will include a field based sales force, a telesales team and Key Account Manager. You will be involved in budget and target setting, with responsibility for reporting performance figures direct to the Sales Director, including activity levels, revenue, client bases and performance objectives. In addition, you will carry out team reviews, including appraisals, team meetings and be heavily involved in training.
