Requirements:

6 – 8 years DataStage Parallel Extender (Px), with some version 8

experience

8 –10 years ETL Experience

2 – 3 years of UNIX experience

2 – 3 years in a Data Warehouse environment

1 – 2 years experience with one of the following MetaStage or Info

Analyzer

Strong Data Warehouse and ETL Architecture and Design Skills

Experience in writing formal Technical Design Specifications

Strong communication skills





Nice to have:

Healthcare experience is a plus

Autosys experience is a plus





Responsibilities:





The senior DataStage developer will work with the ETL Manager to

write technical design specifications. He/she will be the lead

developer to implement the details specified in the technical

design. The senior-level DataStage developer will develop advanced

DataStage jobs and Sequences to implement the details specified in

the technical design. He/she will need to perform these duties with

very limited supervision. He/she will need to perform code reviews

for junior and mid-level developers.





In addition, the senior level DataStage developer will develop UNIX

Shell scripts, common UNIX routines and other UNIX code, in order to

automate the batch processes through Autosys. He/she will be

responsible creating Autosys Jobs. The senior DataStage developer

will work with the ETL Manager to document the process flow being

implemented in Autosys.
