Does your future include sports and marketing? Are you savvy in both professional sports and ways to bring new readers to a magazine that is showing enormous growth potential? If so, we are looking for you.
Sportsrageous.com is one of the Internet’s newest and fastest-growing sports magazines on the Internet. A product of TheCelebrityCafe.com, Sportsrageous has the ambitious goal to be one of the premier sources of sporting news, analysis, and opinion. But we need to get the word out.
We are seeking aspiring marketers with a love for sports to make it possible.
Sportsrageous.com is offering a three month online marketing internship. This is not a “go-for” coffee-getting gig, but a real working experience. It is 120 hours work in a virtual office. It is currently unpaid, but we are using the internship to select new hires. College credit is available upon request but not required.
Interns will be responsible for carrying out a variety of marketing campaigns, including participation in email marketing, social media, and link exchanging. Tasks include researching, formulating ideas, and helping in executing plans with concrete objectives.
The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated record of meeting objectives, a desire to learn, and a results-oriented attitude. As Sportsrageous.com is operated in a virtual office, the intern must be comfortable with working in an on-line environment and possess excellent communication (written and oral) skills. A marketing background is preferred but not required.
To apply, send your resume and cover letter to managing editor John Neal at neal[at]thecelebritycafe[dot]com.
