Job Title: SAP ABAP Developer
Location: Billerica, MA (01822)
Duration: 6 Months Contract
Start: ASAP

MUST HAVE:
· 5+ years of experience in designing and coding programs using the ABAP language (must pass a technical interview)
· Must have strong communication skills to interact with senior ABAP developers remotely
· Experience in some of the following areas:
o MM
o SD
o FI/CO
o PS
o PP
· Some Aerospace or Defense experience
· Advanced knowledge of:
o SAP ABAP Workbench
o ABAP programming language
o SAP Data Dictionary
o SAP design and coding techniques
· Knowledge of LSMW
· Experience in:
o Converting data from legacy systems into SAP
o Writing interfaces
o SAP ECC 6.0 and/or R/3 v4.5B (specify experience in each)
o Screen Painter
o SmartForms
o Object-oriented programming techniques
· Experience with SAP’s:
o ALE
o RFC
o IDOC technologies
o XI (now called PI)
· Skilled with Dialog programming
· Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Access
· Exposure to SAP configuration
· BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience

DUTIES:
Selected Responsibilities:
· Lead planning, design, development, testing, and implementing customer business application programs
· Analyze business functional issues to formulate and develop new and/or modified computer programs and systems
· Proactively identify and reconcile user requirements with existing and/or projected computer capacity and capabilities
· Establish program and data parameters and coordinate the translation of symbolic problem statements into appropriate specifications for code creation
· Develop and review program code entered into the computer system, conduct unit tests, and correct program errors
· Manage and provide quality control for other development resources
