3-5 REQUIRED SKILLS
· 4-6 years Perl development in a web environment on Unix systems
· Strong knowledge of internet technologies including HTTP, XML, XSLT, JavaScript and HTML
· Strong understanding of SQL and experience working with mySQL and Oracle
· Ability to work in a mixed Windows/Unix environment
· Demonstrated competence in programming related security concepts and best practices

3-5 DESIRED SKILLS
· Experience with billing/payment systems and concepts
· Good written and verbal communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills
· Diagnostic/trouble shooting skills with ability to learn and understand new technical concepts

Core skills:
• 4-6 years of experience in Perl development in a web environment on Unix systems (FreeBSD or Linux)
• Strong understanding of Internet technologies including HTTP, XML, XSLT, JavaScript and HTML
• Experience with billing / payment systems and associated concepts
• Strong knowledge of SQL and the ability to work with mySQL and Oracle
• Good written and verbal communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills
• A passion for the technology tempered by a level-headed approach to problem solving
• Operate within flexible hours, especially during software distribution phases
• Ability to work comfortably and efficiently in a mixed MS-Windows and Unix environment
