Job Title: Blackberry Messaging Administrator
Location: Boca Raton, Florida
Duration: 6 Months Contract to Hire

REQUIRED SKILLS
· 7+ years experience Blackberry Messaging administration, extensive experience supporting messaging technologies (Idap/smtp/pop/imap/content filtering/etc).
· Operating System administration experience, MS Windows Server 2008, strong knowledge of security network protocols.
· Experience supporting Open Source messaging and or groupware solutions. Experience with networking technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, SNMP, SSH, SMTP, LDAP, etc) · Advanced knowledge of x86 server hardware, raid configurations and storage technologies, including (NFS, SAN, NAS, FC, ISCSI).
· Knowledge of Intranet, web browsers, and creation/support of web sites.
· Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, ability to analyze business information needs and ability to design and build systems to satisfy those needs.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a cross functional team, including assuming a leadership role.

Day to Day
· Define, test, deploy, and support messaging tier hardware infrastructure.
· Performs development and testing of IT solutions.
· Participate with business units in analysis of business process/information flow and creation of appropriate support systems.
· Participate in production support and on-call rotation.
· Consult with users in various departments to understand and gather user requirements.
· Review and evaluate current messaging systems and make recommendations for solutions, performance tuning and other ways to optimize messaging applications.
· Conduct performance tuning and analyze messaging system capacity issues.
· Administer, maintain, develop and implement procedures related to security and integrity of messaging systems.
· Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to messaging systems in timely manner.
· Maintain and modify Unix shell scripts.
· Act as liaison or point of contact with development, management, system operations, vendors and other groups in key decisions.
· Serve as 2nd or 3rd tier for messaging system administration and support development efforts.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
