TheCelebrityCafe Editorial Intern
TheCelebrityCafe.com has been providing its readers with entertainment news, celebrity gossip, reviews, and exclusive celebrity interviews since 1995. More than 4 million readers visit our site each month, and we've received accolades from major Internet rating sources including Alexa and Google. All of our stories are listed in News Engines, including Google, Ask, and Yahoo!, and our headlines are reprinted across the Internet.
TheCelebrityCafe.com seeks an Editorial Intern for the spring and summer semesters.
The editorial intern's responsibilities include, but are not limited to, providing the site with daily, original content; write reviews; conduct exclusive celebrity interviews; and promote their work on social media networks. Hiring opportunities are presented to interns who successfully complete the internship.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. They must be outgoing, demonstrate reliability, can meet deadlines, and provide quick turnaround on projects. TheCelebrityCafe.com works entirely on-line so the intern must be able to work independently from home under the editor's guidance. Word processing, Internet research and basic HTML skills are essential. Journalism/English/Communications majors are preferred.
This is an unpaid internship. Interns who are able to receive college credit for the internship are preferred.
To apply, send your resume and 2-3 writing samples to Senior Editor John Neal at neal[at]thecelebritycafe.com.
